We are pleased to announce Marc Eigner has joined the Clear Solutions team as Commercial Director, based at the UK head office.
After graduating in electronics, Marc started his career as a Drilling Fluids Engineer in 1997 with Baroid, Aberdeen. After his initial training with Baroid he started working for M-I Drilling Fluids in Holland in 2001 as a Senior Drilling Fluids Engineer. He was assigned as Account Manager, primarily responsible for Total E&P within M-I SWACO and secondary for Wintershall, Shell and BP in 2005.

His international career with M-I SWACO started in 2007 with the first assignment based in Baku, Azerbaijan as Senior Account Manager and Operations Manager. Within this role Marc developed a chemical forecasting tool that in the end was accepted as a global online forecasting tool. Significant improvements for internal and external operational technical QA/QC improvements and logistics were realised. All was aimed at to support drilling operations for both BP and national operators.

To develop his career further Marc was relocated to Dubai in the role of Supply Chain Manager for Middle East & North Africa. Throughout this period Marc managed multi-million inventories, supporting operations in significant contract negotiations, securing demand, supply, vendor audits and material QA/QC.

Marc was assigned as Operations Manager in Mauritania, facilitating civil work and construction of a mobile liquid mud and bulk plant aimed at full technical support of Tullow Oil’s drilling operations. Upon completion of the job in Mauritania, Marc was signed to the shale drilling project in the USA to provide technical support to Schlumberger’s drilling operations.

  • Clear Solutions during the COVID-19 Pandemic

    At Clear Solutions International Ltd, during the COVID-19 pandemic it is our priority to keep our employees, their families, customers, and suppliers safe and well. We closely monitor the pandemic situation by following local, national and international health authority guidelines and taking the appropriate measures.

    Measures that we have implemented, include additional hygiene facilities for staff, maintaining social distancing within the factory and offices, enabling employees to work from home, avoiding group meetings and using online video conference call tools. These measures allow our teams to continue operations and to follow up with our customers and suppliers on a regular basis.

    We continue to follow government guidance and will adapt our actions accordingly. This requires that we do some things differently, and we need to prioritise our activities so that we can continue to provide the services you need.
