BOB JOINS THE TEAM!

We are pleased to announce that Bob Kelly, has joined the Clear Solutions team, as Technical Services Manager, based at the UK head office.

Bob initially spent the first 15 years of his career as field based Drilling Fluid Technician working in Africa, Middle East and the North Sea. This was followed by 12 years in project management of Fluid services in the UK during which time he supported several HTHP and ERD wells. He returned offshore for a further 2 years as a Drilling Engineer and Supervisor in the North Sea, before spending 6 years in Technical and Managerial positions across India, Europe and Central Asia. His latter experience included the design and technical support of Drilling Fluids and Waste Management in the Black Sea, Caspian Sea  and the Indian Ocean. The most unusual project Bob worked on was to design a fluid that could perform in the cold deep of the Andaman Trench while at the same time cope with the temperatures generated by drilling down to the Earth’s Upper Mantle!

Bob says “Throughout my career, I have always enjoyed either working on rigs or supporting them in an operational function. Combining this experience with a recent qualification in Lean Six Sigma gives me opportunities to exceed our customer’s requirements as the business grows.”
